About Drazin and Warshaw
The law firm’s legacy started 75 years ago. The firm – originally started by Justin’s grandfather, Louis M. Drazin – has since been led by brothers, Dennis, Ronald, and Brian Drazin. While the majority of their cases involve car accidents and medical malpractice, they remain a full-service law firm, extending their legal prowess to those who have been injured by defective products, workplace accidents, and slips and falls. The firm also routinely assists those who need help with estate planning, 9/11 claims, and residential and commercial real estate.
Per Justin Drazin, “No case is too big or small for the firm. From the time my grandfather opened the doors to our practice, if it was a $500 case or a $10 million case, the client was treated the same way, with dignity and respect.” He went on to say, “When a client calls, they need our help, and we will always be here for them.”
Former client, Liz R. echoed this sentiment, stating she was referred to Justin Drazin by a friend after sustaining a slip and fall injury. “It was not a major incident but worthy of attorney representation,” she said. “I luckily landed in the right office. Justin’s number one goal was to make sure I was satisfied with the final outcome based on my injury.”
Justin Drazin’s Desire to Help Others Developed Into a Successful Literary Career
When he’s not helping injured Westfield residents with their personal injury claims, Mr. Drazin spends time helping others through a different medium: books. His bedtime story, Albert and the Amazing Pillow Monsters is aimed at helping children overcome their nighttime fears.
“I suffered horribly from nighttime terror and fear of the dark when I was young,” Justin said. “I wanted to give an outlet to younger children suffering from the same fears.” While this book aims to help children gain the confidence to tackle their nighttime fears, his other two books – It’s Raining Paint and Grandma and the Groundhog – promote other encouraging lessons about finding beauty in everyday life and the power of sharing with those around you. So far, his books have sold over 3,000 copies worldwide.
When asked about how he feels about his job, he can’t help but reflect upon its rewards. “There’s never a Sunday night when I am upset about going to work the next day. When I leave the office on Friday, I think about what I can do to help someone on Monday.” While he doesn’t enjoy hearing that a member of the community has been injured, he’s proud to be a part of a firm and his family’s legacy of helping others when they need legal representation. He concluded, “We pride ourselves on being there and treating every client like a part of our family. It’s what our basic business model has been for 75 years and it’s been very successful for us.”
