10 Injured in NJ Transit Bus Accident
On Tuesday, February 14th, an NJ Transit bus and cement truck collided leaving 10 people injured. The crash occurred at 7:35 in the morning. The accident happened on the Turnpike in Elizabeth, NJ. According to NJ Transit, the bus was headed to Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York from Lakewood.
The bus was carrying 32 passengers and nine of them suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the cement truck also suffered non-life threatening injuries. The passengers were able to continue their trip to NYC after another bus picked them up. The cause of the NJ Transit crash is being investigated by the New Jersey State Police.
